Jane is a Managing Partner at UpHonest where she is focused on early-stage investing, working with companies that are seeing product-market fit and she excels in guiding founders through this critical phase of driving adoption/growth. She has extensive experience in VC investments globally and has represented a number of prominent institutions since she embarked on her VC journey some 15 years.
Prior to joining UpHonest, Jane was a founding member of BioTrack Capital (spinoff by an ex-Sequoia Partner) where she focused on early-stage investments led by Asian founders, which often included global collaborations such as a diagnostic startup where she drove a merger between a U.S. company founded by a Harvard Professor and an Asian company with strong distribution channels.
Prior to this, Jane was in Temasek, where she split time between VC deals and fund investments. Her direct investments included an Asian headquartered SaaS logistic company and companies focusing on leveraging both Asia and U.S. resources/capabilities, such as a spinout of a key Alphabet/Google AI platform.
She graduated from the University of Melbourne in Australia with a double major in Accounting and Finance. Following her graduation, Jane worked in corporate finance and capital market roles in investment banks/Corporate Finance and was initially based in Australia. She is also active in various organizations globally such as being a member of PEWIN, a group bringing together influential female leaders in the private equity/venture capital globally.
